Select an area for the UnderGround Downspout at least 8 feet from the house in line with your downspout.
Dig a hole 8 inches deep and 12 inches in diameter for the UnderGround Downspout to set in.
Be sure to install the UnderGround Downspout with the green lid flush with the dirt line.
Scoop out a shallow trench from the house to the UnderGround Downspout,
slopping from 4 inches deep to 8 inches deep at the UnderGround Downspout.
Using standard 4" thin wall PVC pipe and elbow, readily available at your local home center. Fit one end of the PVC pipe into the side of the UnderGround Downspout the other end into the elbow.
Hold the Debris Filter up against the house just under the downspout attached to your home
and measure the length of pipe needed to connect the Debris Filter to the elbow.
Back fill the trench and around the UnderGround Downspout with dirt and tamp down.
